4 Steps for Creating A Demo Student in Google Classroom

Have you ever wanted to walk your students through an assignment on Google Classroom, but weren’t sure how? After you’ve taken the steps of setting up a Google Classroom you can create a demo student in Google Classroom. A demo student in Google Classroom is the solution to your problems. Today I am going to walk you through the steps for creating a demo student in Google Classroom. The ability to do this easily depends on the access you have to your accounts. Follow the steps below!

Step 1: Consider Your Access

Do you have the ability to create student domains in your district? If you do then this will be easy! If you don’t have this ability you will need to contact your IT department and see if they can make a demo account for you.

Step 2: Create Demo Student

Next, you’ll create a demo student within your domain; demo@yourdomain.com.

Step 3: Head to Google Classroom

Google Classroom Home page

In your browser head to classroom.Google.com and sign in to the demo student account. In the top corner click the + and join class. You will need the class code to join!

Step 4: You’ve Created a Demo Student in Google Classroom, Now what?

Now you’ve created a demo student in Google Classroom! You can create tutorials for your students! Use programs such as Quicktime to record your screen showing the students exactly what they need to do!
