How to Create Headers for Google Classroom

Do you want to change out the preloaded headers in your Google Classroom? Well, this blog post will walk you through the steps of how to create your own headers for Google Classroom.

1. Choose your program

Where will you create your header? Do you like to use PowerPoint, Keynote, some other program? Pick the one you are most comfortable with and open a new document. I will be using PowerPoint for this tutorial. Open PowerPoint and choose “New Presentation.”

2. Change the document size

Google headers are 1000 x 250 pixels. You will need to change the setup of your document to this size. To do that in PowerPoint click “File” and then go down to “Page Setup.”

A dialogue box will pop up like the one shown below.

Adding custom dimensions in the page setup box

You will need to change the dimensions that are already there to 1000 x 250 pixels. To do this click width then type 1000 px. It will change to inches when you click out of the box. Then for height click 250 px and click ok.
