In my last blog post on teaching electricity and magnetism I shared some simple, hands-on ideas for the elementary classroom. Today I will be sharing some resources on electricity and magnetism.

- brainpop and brainpopjr are subscription sites, but have free videos. If your school has a subscription these are great resources to introduce a topic.
- Bill Nye- who doesn’t love Bill? He has great videos on both electricity and magnetism. These videos run about 30 minutes and are great for both an introduction or wrap up.
- Magnets and Static Electricity This is a subscription site, but you can try it for free
- Magnetism video from Peekaboo Kidz
- Energy video from Peekaboo Kids
- Fun with Magnets video from Sci Show Kids
- The Power of Circuits video from Sci Show Kids
Blog Posts
Amber from SSS Teaching shares a post titled 10 Easy Stations for Building Circuits where she shares some great ideas to get your students working with electricity in a hands-on way!

Tammy from Two Teaching Taylors shares a post titled Fun Ideas for Teaching Electricity and Circuits. She shares some great ideas for review, including these vocabulary puzzles.
